Personal Training

Our trainers support you to improve your fitness and wellbeing by developing, with you an exercise routine rooted in a broader healthier approach to your life which supports all the changes you want to make.

We continually  build on this to enable you to understand how to take better care of yourself for the long term. Avoiding the on again, off again pattern that so many people end up with in their relationship with exercise and self care.

Options available to you…..

  •                  one to one Personal Training sessions, where an exercise program is specifically designed for you, to fit with and improve your fitness,  reduce your stress levels, improve your diet and  sense of well-being.
  •        companion training – where you and a friend decide you want to get fitter and can do so better together, adding an extra level of mutual support and fun
  •         small groups – where you and perhaps 3 or 4 friends set yourself a target to improve your fitness together

Everyday Fitness

We all know it can be difficult to improve our fitness levels but by increasing your heart rate a little everyday has been shown to have great health benefits. This fun class is ideal for getting your heart to beat faster,  helping your body
to move oxygen and blood to your muscles more efficiently, allowing you to burn more calories and lower your cholesterol.  

During the class you will  complete a variety of short cardio and strengthening exercises progressing your level of fitness as you go.

 It’s a perfect healthy heart and mood boosting work out that is adaptable for all levels of fitness and abilities.

Boxercise

Our Boxercise classes are aimed at men and women of all ages and fitness levels, whatever your size, shape or sex you can work your way up to a good level of fitness with these classes.  

Boxercise will raise your heart rate and improve your cardiovascular fitness, help to burn fat, and tone muscles, so are great for helping to achieve your healthy weight goals.

Not only that they will also improve your hand-eye coordination, your balance and concentration.

 Classes do not involve the physical hitting of an opponent, they are a fun and safe way to release aggression, boost your self-esteem and improve mental health.

Pilates Mat Classes

Pilates evenly conditions the body, it stretches and strengthens all the muscles giving the body a well-defined shape and targets the deep “core” muscles that are so important for good posture. Pilates also concentrates the mind and encourages correct breathing to increase lung capacity and blood circulation. It improves bone density and promotes good joint mobility ensuring that the right muscles in the body do the right job, thus correcting faulty movement patterns. Pilates dramatically increases core strength and when practised regularly it will produce incredible benefits for your body.  It is extremely safe and beneficial to those with back problems, sports injuries, pre or post-natal as well as those who are 100% fit and want to stay that way.  

 

Pilates one to one reformer

As well as all of the above working one to one ona  reformer makes the sessions low impact meaning it is suitable for treating any injury., it is very versatile as it can be used to challenge or support the body.  The nature of Reformer Pilates as a high intensity and low impact work out makes it suitable for any age group and fitness level.

Nia - Mindful Movement

Nia is a body-mind-emotion-spirit movement and lifestyle practice. The fitness programme draws from aspects of martial arts, healing arts and dance arts to improve the body’s co-ordination, mobility, and flexibility. 

The class will allow you to move, prance and challenge your body whilst also being gentle on joints as well as the cardio-vascular and respiratory systems. 

You will leave a Nia class feeling uplifted throughout your body and mind and with a big smile on your face.

Barre + Pilates

Barre  + Pilates classes, provide a strength building full body workout that blends ballet inspired Barre work with the precision of Pilates techniques. 

Barre + Pilates helps improve your balance, build strength, burn calories, and improve stability through a stronger core.  Our Barre classes are aimed at everyone they focus on upper body, core and leg work to help strengthen and lengthen the body whilst encouraging good posture and Pilates technique.

You do not need to have any ballet experience. A large part of the class will take place at the barre but the barre is just there really to help you with balance as lot of the class takes place on one foot.

Yoga for All

Yoga is an ancient practice that combines the body, breath, and mind through physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation, allowing you to stretch, relax and unwind naturally.

Yoga for all classes take a themed practice which develops over several weeks, progressing slowly towards a deeper experience.  The postures are taken meditatively and all the work is founded upon original Yoga philosophy and its essential element, breath.

Adaptations make it accessible to EveryBody and   you  learn how to practise in a personal way we all benefit by honoring  our different life- experiences, our uniqueness.

As we develop the qualities of strength, steadiness, stamina and flexibility in body and mind, we move towards contentment.

Yoga of the Heart

Yoga is an ancient practice that combines the body, breath, and mind through physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation, allowing you to stretch, relax and unwind naturally.

Yoga of the heart classes will allow you to move with grace,  through breath-led movements.

 This beautifully crafted series of classes are built to suit all levels and abilities and can be adapted to meet you where you are at in your life. They will unpick principal movements, focus on removing stagnancy and tension to flow freely leaving you empowered to move at a pace that’s right for you.

Classes will explore the elements and movement alchemy to enrich your beautiful self with a Yoga practice of the heart.

Sound Meditation Classes

Sound meditation classes, also known as Sound Baths, are an immersive sound experience where sound waves wash over you. A Sound Bath is an excellent way to relax, reduce stress levels and anxiety whilst promoting a sense of spiritual well-being and wholeness.

 

Tibetan bowls, gongs, drums, chimes and percussion instruments are played to create healing sound vibrations, inducing a deep meditative state of mind and rebalancing the body’s natural flow of energy. Lay back and allow the vibrations and sounds calm the mind and restore harmony throughout the physical, mental and spiritual body.

Healthy Weight Management

For many people, reaching a healthy weight seems like a distant goal that they can’t get close to, usually because they either don’t know where to start or have started so many times and travelled down so many different roads that they are lost.

 

 

Our Healthy Weight Management classes offer  a combination of Nutritional and Fitness Coaching plus  wellbeing and change management support, a combination that will help you to create new ways of thinking around how various foods and lifestyle changes can affect weight, mood, and energy levels. 

 

Our interactive workshops will leave you feeling motivated and empowered to make the changes needed to lose weight and achieve an overall sense of wellbeing.

When you get to a certain age, however fit you feel, you start to question whether organised fitness classes involving a mix of cardio, strength and flexibility-related exercises are still the thing for you. Everyday Fitness were well planned and varied from week to week, and Andy keeps detailed records of each person's progress, encouraging you to try a little more each time. Although everyone does the same exercises, the availability of a range of weights and resistances mean the programe is effectively tailored to each individual in the class. Cannot recommend highly enough!
