Archway Fitness and Archway Health & Wellbeing are grounded in decades of taking care of the health & wellbeing of  a wide variety of people with a huge range of different health issues and wildly varied fitness levels.

We are not just here to help you get fitter,  but attain a  happier, healthier, more sustainable fitter you. We will help you learn more about what works best for you and how to take better care of yourself.

We will ensure you feel safe, supported and inspired in our training spaces no matter how confident you feel or what stage of life or fitness level you are at.

Our studios are designed to adapt to the best way to exercise with you, so everything is adjustable.  For example you can use our mirrors to check exercise form and posture or if you would sooner not look at yourself when you are training we can simply turn them around.  We don’t want you to ever feel judged when working with us, not even by yourself.

Cat is passionate about exercise, but she also knows how difficult it can be to get started and keep going. She is a strong believer that failure is a big part of success. This only makes you stronger! Her aim throughout sessions is to educate and encourage the belief that you can be the best that you can possibly be.

Andy delivers engaging and interactive sessions built on the key principles of healthy lifestyle management, covering the fundamentals of a balanced diet, energy balance & effective exercise. Andy’s expertise lies in healthy weight management and supporting people recovering from or living through injury or illness. He is a firm believer that fitness should be a lifestyle rather than a chore no matter what your age or ability is.

Henna’s love of movement comes from her dance background and shows through her teaching, one of Henna’s favourite Pilates principles is precision, she believes that performing exercises correctly is far more beneficial than the amount. Her detailed instruction promotes the exact and correct form, leaving no body part unattended and helping you feel you stretched, stronger and balanced. Henna works with all levels and abilities with her specialism being Pre and Post Natal teaching.

Louise had been practicing Pilates for over 5 years before she decided to become a teacher, she was amazed at the sense of wellbeing it gave her and how just one hour of Pilates would leave her felling energised and stronger and she was keen to share this with others. Louise qualified as a Level 3 teacher with Body control Pilates and her classes use a method that can work for everyone regardless of their fitness level or ability.

Like many people, Lou started Pilates to try and solve a back problem. She was impressed with the movement and control that it restored to her body, and the flexibility and posture it gave her, so much that she trained as a teacher! Lou believes Pilates is for everybody and has been teaching mat work since 2013 working with a wide range of people at all different levels.

Carol began teaching Nia after discovering classes here at Archway and is now a Blue belt Nia Teacher. Through Nia, Carol enjoys encouraging people to explore, discover and enhance the Joy of Movement. Classes are energising and healing, Nia encourages you to celebrate your uniqueness in a way which is as gentle or as expressive as you choose.

Iona began Yoga in her twenties, she studied for four years to train as a teacher and has been taught by some widely acclaimed practitioners in the field. Iona continues to study and practice daily what she calls 'this life-affirming system'. She firmly believes Yoga is the key to a sense of well-being, to happiness and to the steadiness we all need to be positive whatever comes our way in life.

Zoe has specialised in massage therapy for over 20 years and became fascinated with sound therapy and healing whilst studying Reiki, as it complimented her work ethic of healing the mind, body and soul in ways that don’t just involve ‘hands on’ treatment. After attending sound meditations/gong baths, she felt this was her pathway to continue helping others. Now a certified Sound Healer, Zoe offers group sound meditation classes and 1-2-1 treatments at Archway.

Lee is a Qigong Instructor, Intuitive Healer, and Soul Plan practitioner who overcame Chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis through holistic practice. He now shares his knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine, energy work, and wellbeing to help others achieve health and balance
